Why?
Despite their small size, bed bugs are strong. When a leg gets stuck, they pull it free and back away from the tape. This also applies to insect traps designed as sticky boards.
Our bed bug tape Nattaro Safe (InsectoSec) is a double-folded strip of paper. The strip contains finely ground powder (diatomaceous earth). A purely natural material, consisting of fossilized remains of algae. Completely harmless to humans.
When properly installed, bed bugs voluntarily crawl into the strip to hide, and they get covered in the powder. All stages of bed bugs that come into contact with diatomaceous earth dry out and die within 1-4 weeks.
