As previously announced, Nattaro Labs received a Union approval for the company’s patented diatomaceous earth tape in the first half of 2022 from the European Chemical Agency (ECHA). Now the subsequent national registration has been approved in Italy, which is required for the product to be allowed to be sold in the country.
The patented bed bug product Nattaro Safe enables preventive protection to reduce costs and provide “nattaro” – peace of mind – to all those who are at risk of being exposed to bed bug infestations.
“Nattaro Safe is an important product in the domestic market in Sweden”, says Carl-Johan Gustafson, CEO of Nattaro Labs AB. “Unfortunately, the process of necessary national registrations in Europe has taken significantly longer than expected. The fact that we now have the opportunity to sell in a market like Italy is therefore gratifying.”
The approval applies to both professional and non-professional use, which means that in addition to professional pest control companies, the product may also be used by other types of companies and by private individuals.
